6X has been developed by highly experienced reservoir engineering and IT professionals with a distinguished track record spanning SSI, Sohio, ECL, Intera, and Schlumberger. Tommy Miller and Garf Bowen, based in the UK, were key members of the ECLIPSE software development team, helping establish ECLIPSE as the market-leading simulator and industry standard. This deep expertise in what makes simulators successful has been instrumental in creating 6X's innovative architecture.
Our Technical Director, Chet Ozgen of NITEC (Denver, Colorado), brings extensive simulator development experience from SimBest-II, COMP4, and COZSim. NITEC's daily use of 6X in commercial consulting projects - particularly for unconventional reservoirs - ensures our technology development remains grounded in real-world applications, creating a vital feedback loop between software innovation and practical reservoir engineering challenges.
